Job Title: Senior Lab Technician

AERON Lifestyle Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Lab Technician to help grow their engineering department. As an engineering department team member, the candidate will participate in various engineering projects. Each project is unique and requires a wide range of functions to realize the desired outcome. Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team environment are a must.

Primary Duties:

  • Operation & maintenance of 3D printing facility: There are currently three 3D printers in the lab. The
    candidate is responsible for all aspects of the operation of the printers, including but not limited to:
    • Loading print jobs
    • Cleaning and post processing of printed models
    • Cleaning and resetting of the printers
    • Performing recommended scheduled maintenance of the printers
    • Maintaining adequate print material inventory
    • Interfacing with printer maintenance contract personnel
    • Keeping a clean and orderly lab
  • Performing test measurements of R&D projects
  • Keeping detailed records of test measurements
  • Researching new technologies applicable to our products
  • Assisting in other various projects
  • Must be prepared to occasionally work outside regular hours to meet critical deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skillful with hand tools and instruments:
    • Soldering iron
    • Multimetero Oscilloscope
    • Drill
    • Drill press
    • Etc.
  • Understanding of basic electronics
  • Must be physically fit to handle lifting and moving objects

Education:

Preference will be given to candidates with a technical degree or equivalent, and 2 years or more of experience.
