With their safety and health in mind, in mid-March, we sent everyone home.

With the benefit of today’s communications technology, Aeron Lifestyle Technology is in the fortunate position of being able to have employees work from home while not having to cease our corporate operations. With many of our people already accustomed to utilizing remote access when out of the office, the transition to work-at-home was relatively smooth.

Some of our locations in Mason City, Iowa; Pflugerville, Texas and Mexico City were closed due to the nature of close-contact work in those facilities and/ or conditions of closure required by those cities and states. When we were able to reopen, we instituted strict mask and glove requirements, physical distancing, and plexiglass barriers on the production lines where possible.

Our worldwide manufacturing and supply chain have emerged intact in this global pandemic.

From our corporate base in Fairfield, Iowa, we recently announced staff additions that were finalized before the coronavirus hit, but for now we have halted any additional staff hiring, until the level of new cases in the United States subsides.
