FAIRFIELD, IOWA — AERON Lifestyle Technology, Inc., Co-founder, and Chief Financial Officer Monica Hadley announces that Adrienne Hadley, CPA, of Austin, Texas joined the company June 1 as associate vice-president of finance, replacing Carl Zimmerman who retired from the position in May.
A Fairfield native, graduating from Fairfield High School with highest honors, Ms. Hadley will oversee the finance and operations departments, as well as serve as the chief contact with the company’s tax preparer and external auditors. She will be based at the company’s operations in Pflugerville, TX.
Hadley graduated from the University of Texas (UT) in Austin with a BS in corporate communications and a minor in business. She earned her master’s in professional accounting from UT’s #1-ranked program and was honored with the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. She spent eight years in public accounting, first at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) in Dallas, and then at Rothstein and Kass (RK) in LA, specializing in federal tax.
Moving to industry, Hadley joined Houston, TX-based Country Fresh, LLC, a leading purveyor of ready-to-eat, all-natural snacking products, expanding her expertise to include management accounting in a manufacturing environment. Prior to joining AERON, she served as a senior manager in tax for Rackspace Technology, Inc. in San Antonio, TX, a provider of managed cloud solutions, focusing on indirect tax and financial systems integration.
Adrienne is the daughter of AERON co-founder Monica Herr Hadley, who together with Webmaster Jeffrey Smith, launched the company in 1996 with Smith’s invention of an aromatherapy diffuser for vehicles. She was the company’s first employee before heading off to college. “This opportunity has allowed me to come full circle in my career,” Adrienne says. “I am looking forward to working with a dynamic team and company that delivers innovative products that I personally love to use.”
